Fake Tanning RoutineĀ

beauty, Lifestyle and Beauty

Welcome back to my blog,

Winter is around the corner, so I thought I would share a routine that I hope you’ll find super handy in the up and coming months! I am a very pale person naturally that’s why I enjoy having some colour on me, so fake tan is an easy and quick way to do this.

I am going to be talking through my favourite fake tanning products and the routine in which I use them to make sure it looks the best as I possibly can.

Prepping my skin, I usually use the Sanctuary Body Moisture Spray. When getting out the shower, with wet skin I apply this spray all over my body and wait for it to set in. This fine mist moisturises my body the best it possibly can and the oily formula allows an even tan as it reduces the dryness in my skin. I use this product to maintain my tan and it helps the product stay on for longer.

Choosing a tanning product is the most important part of the process. I have tried my fair share of foam, sprays and moisturisers and I have finally come to the conclusion of my favourite. I have been using bonsi sands, self tanning foam in the shade Dark for a while now and it’s safe to say it is the best for me. The formula and colour seems to suit my skin the best, I usually apply 2-3 layers of the product and sleep in it overnight. This builds up the right amount of coverage and colour for me. When washing it off in the morning I very lightly hold the shower head over me, removing the base colour and not the colour I have created with the layers.

The mit I use depends on what I have, I’m away at the moment so I have a ST. Tropez mitt. The mitt is very important, if it is too rough then the product will just rub away from the skin when you apply more layers.

Thank you for reading! If you see this, I’d love to know what your favourite fake tans are!
